What we do
Whatever you're booking, you're booking with a stylist who has been cutting hair in this valley for years and will remember how you like it next time.
01
A cut shaped to your hair and how you actually wear it day to day, from a long-overdue trim to a full change of direction.
02
Clean fades, tapers and traditional cuts, plus beard and neckline cleanup while you're in the chair.
03
Patient, unhurried, and used to wiggly first haircuts. Plenty of families here are on their third generation in these chairs.
04
Foils, balayage, all-over color, gray coverage and color correction, including the box-dye rescues other salons would rather not take on.
05
Body waves through tight curl, wrapped to suit your hair type. A service a lot of salons stopped offering and we never did.
06
Quick, tidy facial waxing for brows, lip and chin. Easy to add on to a cut or book on its own.
Kind words
April knows exactly what to do with my hair every single time without me having to say anything!
Alicia has been doing my hair for years and ALWAYS achieves exactly what I'm looking for.
Wendy is so fun and makes everyone feel special and important. Very talented stylist and wonderful woman.
Been having Sherri do my hair for almost 30 years. Everyone there is friendly and helpful.
Our story
Total E'Clips has been part of Smithfield for more than forty years. What began as a small salon on Center Street became the place where whole families come, first the grandmother, then her daughters, then the kids who won't sit still.
Four stylists work here now, and each one runs her own chair. That's why the salon has stayed the same size while everything around it changed: nobody is anybody's employee, and nobody is rushing you out to hit a quota.
People still drive up from Logan, Providence and Hyrum for a cut, a color or a perm they could technically get closer to home. They come for the person holding the scissors.
You leave with a haircut you like and, more often than not, the local news.
Cache Valley
Smithfield sits about ten minutes north of Logan on Main, so wherever you are in Cache Valley you're a short drive from the chair. Parking is right out front on Center Street.
